Opening night at Irwindale Speedway started out great. Being P1 in qualifying followed by the 2020 Awards ceremony. Received my 2020 Irwindale track and NASCAR Championship Awards on MAVTV and IrwindaleSpeedway.tv.
While taking P5 in the first race of a double header the second race only lasted a quarter lap after the drop of the green. While chasing down Rodney Argo he was confronted with a spinning car and hit it head on. With me right on his tail I had no where to go but hitting him in the rear and going up under his car. That was the end of my mine and Rodney's night. Thankful we’re both ok, but our cars may need more work then it may be worth.
I am ok, but a firm believer and so thankful that I had on a Hans device.
Will see if I can get it ready for the next race for all the sponsors. Thanks again to all.
