Today was a promising day to collect some points on the champion leader. With a P2 in qualifying then a 7 car inversion that placed me in the last starting position for Race #1.
Car was running strong but just a little loose on entry but allowed me to finish in P2. In Race #2 while running in the lead of the Sport division an over zealous driver decided to push me coming out of corner 2 into the back stretch and then sliced my bumper spinning me out.
I was able to save it, which allowed many drivers to pass me up loosing many points. All and all, I couldn’t have asked for a better night, not loosing any ground on the championship leader. With only 2 races left and down by 34 points, the championship is slipping through my fingers.
With the many accidents this year, I am very Blessed to be safe and with the great people and companies that support this race team.
