A great Memorial Day Weekend Night of Destruction race at Irwindale Speedway.
During the day of interesting practice/qualifying we were able to qualify in P2. With the inversion we were placed in the second row inside of the Sport class and in the overall starting postion P11.
With Rotundo getting out front and a hard felt battle between us, we were able to get the Ozman Acura in a position to make the pass. With the clean pass we didn’t look back and was able to finish in a P1 overall. https://youtu.be/Ef9OTLPFL2Y
Ozman Motorsports was able to put togeather a P5 in its second Figure 8 race.
We did have Chris Voight have a fire right in front of us during the race which caused a red flag. Chris and the car were ok. https://youtu.be/b6I7AyBaYdA
