First Responders Night at Irwindale Speedway. It was another hot race day with the humidity over 70%. There was a last minute change for the schedule where they added a second race making it a double header for the 4th time this year.

These are very challenging race days due to not being able to change tires for the second race. Finishing P1 in the prelim race, I picked up a screw in the right rear.

During the autograph session I noticed the tire was almost flat. Thanks to my competition Ian Rotundo, while I was doing my interview he plugged it for me. That allowed me to bypass the (go to the back) penalty for changing the tire.

With some wild racing including three abreast in the Tri-Oval during the second race, we were able to sweep the night with another P1.

Thanks to everyone for the help and support.
