Went out with a bang last night during the Irwindale Speedway Enduro season Finale. I was going in with a 14 point deficit behind @ianrotundo. It ended up being a double points night, so all I had to do is finish a few places ahead of him.
Well like I said, this is racing and anything can happen. At about 5 laps in at the fastest part of the track @argo9racing and I tangled. I wasn’t able to recover. So the bang was me just kissing the wall. I was able to drive the car but when we went green again the hood flew open. I drove it that way for 3 laps until I was black flagged. My HANS device for the second time in 4 years saved me from more serious injuries. I thank the Lord for keeping me safe.
