Wild Saturday night racing with a double header for Mother’s Day weekend at Irwindale Speedway.
Both races were on the kidney bean road course. In race #1 the start was a clean one, until I got slammed from behind on lap 4 and almost taken out. We were able to recover and put the HVAC 24 Seven Acura back in 1st place and take the big W.
In the second race Rodney Argo was able to get his car out in front right away. Every time he hit traffic it was like the seas parted for him and closed up on me. We did finish strong with a 2nd place.
