Hot and wild Saturday night of racing at Irwindale Speedway. It was a great night of racing with an outstanding fireworks show.
As always the autograph session was awesome. There was over 6000 spectators in attendace for the Forth of July show.
The goal was to get up front and stay there. Late in the race I took a bad line through traffic and Rodney Argo was able to get around on the outside. Started to run him down when Robbie Salcido got spun and I had to go to the outside. At that point we lost all momentum and unable to challenge Rodney for the finish. Taking a P2 home is always a good finish.
