The Tri-Oval was the course for Saturday night’s race at Irwindale Speedway. After qualifying the inversion wheel was spun by Rodney Argo putting me on the back row with him.
Knowing that this course is not my strongest, I knew I just needed to put together a strong finish. On the first lap the trans blew and would not stay in gear. I had to hold it in 3rd the whole race. Wish I had the bungee cord, HaHa.
Some how we were able to hold it together and have a strong run with my teammate Michael David Mc Intyre for the last 5 laps. It was a blast battling with him but in the end we were able to but together the P1. Many thanks go out to my wife and family.
